Creative Show and Tell

Open Works, Baltimore, MD

Open mic circle for sharing songs, poems, stories, visual art, handmade work, and works-in-progress.

Creative Show & Tell is a relaxed, multidisciplinary open mic for people who make things, write things, sing things, tell stories, or just have something meaningful to share.

Bring one thing into the room. That can be a song, poem, short story, joke, piece of visual art, handmade object, work-in-progress, or creative idea you want to share with people.

This isn’t meant to be a high-pressure performance night. It’s more like a creative circle. Everyone gets a little time to share, talk about what they brought, and be heard.

We’ll keep the room in a listening-room setting, which just means we’ll ask folks to be present with whoever is sharing and save side conversations for before, after, or between rounds.

Each person will have up to 6 minutes. If there’s time, we may do a second round.

This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited, so registration helps us keep the room comfortable.
